Hi, I’m Jason. I’m an independent cd/writer. In San Francisco. And a dad.

In 2024, I’ve made AI-ish work with Microsoft. Before that, I worked on two years of launches and Host stories at Airbnb.

I spent my largest chunk of career at , making films for six consecutive iPhones, iPad, Apple Card, and that’s barely scratching the surface. It was a good run.

I worked on Nike at R/GA. Crown Royal at Grey. Made this Spacecraft project at Google Creative Lab. Got smarter at BBDO, and funnier at Cliff Freeman.

In 2002, I wrote the original line and campaign “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” with a former partner, at R&R Partners. One of the most famous ad lines in history. We recently celebrated a 20th anniversary. I have a chapter in James Patterson’s 2024 book, titled ‘What Really Happens in Vegas.’

I’ve won. Cannes, One Show, D&AD, AICP, Andys, Clios, Comm Arts, Webby’s, Tomorrow Awards, FWA, Creative Review, SXSW, London International Awards. My work is etched on the sidewalk on New York’s Advertising Walk of Fame on Madison Ave. I was honored at the 2023 University of Colorado commencement speech alongside Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and South Park creators Trey Parker & Matt Stone for my Vegas work.

I started a small clothing brand. Fun.
